!Welcome

I am a versatile scientist trained in biotechnology and computational science, i.e. a computational biologist / bioinformaticist. Although I spend most of my time in front of a computer, I can occasionally be found in the field or working at the bench. I get to interact with all sorts of scholars (molecular biologists, mathematicians, geneticists, computer scientists, ecologists, ...) and enjoy it.

I am currently a [computational science doctoral student|http://www.csrc.sdsu.edu] in the [Rohwer lab|http://phage.sdsu.edu] at [San Diego State University|http://www.sdsu.edu]. My research interests revolve around metagenomics, microbial ecology, phage biodiversity and coral reef ecosystems.

'''Please have a look at my [Vita].'''
